Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is a lentivirus (a member of the retrovirus family) that can lead to acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS), a condition in humans in which the immune system begins to fail, leading to life-threatening opportunistic infections. AIDS has no cure for now but there are medications and treatment that can prolong life.

SM City North Edsa's new annex makes it THE 3rd LARGEST MALL in the world

MANILA – The world's third biggest shopping mall is to open in

the country this week, a vote of confidence on the country's economic prospects amid a global slowdown, its owners said yesterday.

The launch today of a 90,000-square-meter annex will make the SM City North Edsa mall the third biggest in the world with a gross floor area of 425,000 square meters, SM Prime Holdings Inc. said in a statement.

The company, a holding firm of the country's richest man Henry Sy, also owns the world's fourth, seventh, and 11th biggest malls, it added.

SM Prime President Hans Sy said launching the project amid the global crisis "speaks of how we view the longer-term prospects of the country."

The Asian Development Bank forecast yesterday that Philippine economic growth would slow to 4.5 percent this year and further down to 3.5 percent next year after growth of 7.2 percent in 2007.

Hundreds of Filipinos employed abroad, part of a huge number that remits the equivalent of 10 percent of the country's gross domestic product to their families back home every year, have lost their jobs, the government said.

SM Prime said tenants have signed up for 70 percent of the leasable space in the six-storey extension to the mall.

BEAUTY AND BELO

I'm so inspired of writing this article,regarding one of
my wildest dream and Guess what??? Since High School i
usually heard and see Belo on TV
and  it made me curious since then. I know Belo is
an instrument to everybody out there who aspires and
wants to enhance their beauty.

God created us in his image and likeness so therefore
everybody is equal and everybody is beautiful physically.
to top it up add some good and nice traits to yourself
and to others to spice it up and definitely it will
make you COMPLETELY BEAUTIFUL INSIDE and OUT.

Back to my Topic,  while i was bloghopping and surfing
the net I've discovered that Belo Medical group is not
only focusing in beauty enhancement, surgeries and all
that but they also have a Golden Heart of helping people
in need , for short they have their own Foundation.

needy children, rehabilitation of burned victims, surgery

MARK CIELO FOUND DEAD

Marky's death reminds one of the untimely demise of Rico Yan six years ago in Dos Palmas Resort, Palawan. Marky's body was brought to St. Peter's Antipolo.

A STAR source says that Marky confided to his actor-friend that he had been receiving death threats prior his death. In another report, it was his mother, Mildred who found him dead in their home.

The family is waiting for the results of an investigation regarding Marky's death before issuing an official statement.

Marky entered showbusiness through the artista search StarStruck in 2005 and became the Ultimate Sole Survivor in 2006. He won the nod of the judges and the public through his dancing talent and charisma. He was the first half-Igorot to win the reality-talent search.

Televiewers have seen him on GMA shows like Fantastikids, Encantadia: Pag-ibig Hanggang Wakas, Bakekang, Asian Treasures, Zaido, Sinenovela: Kaputol ng Isang Awit, Codename: Asero and LaLola.
